Midnight Forest
40 × 45 · 1,800 stitches · 4 colors · by NaredCraft
About this pattern
A full moon inside its own ring of glow, with a pine treeline biting into its base and eleven stars in the dark above. Four colors, worked flat in single crochet with no shaping, around three color changes a row. Night does the work here: it puts foliage, bark and ground into one dark field, so the whole palette goes on depth instead. The eleven stars are single stitches, the only fiddly part of an otherwise flat chart. Finishes around 25 by 28 cm.
